Fetching water

The inspiration for this sketch came from imagining all those people in remote villages in India who have to travel long distances by foot to fetch water. Pencil on 8.5" x 11" printing paper.

Tiger

I was looking for a picture of a tiger in the dark because I love William Blake's poem titled The Tyger. Instead, I found this and couldn't resist giving it a try. It's a pencil sketch on 8.5" x 11" printing paper.

Self Portrait

I did this pencil sketch a few years ago. The picture was taken the day before our wedding during one of the religious rituals known as the Haldi (Turmeric) Ceremony.
